When i was s a Middle East based photojournalist (2007-2014, Palestine, Egypt) I made a promise to each person i met and I took photographs of: “one day I will raise your voice”. I became aware I could not keep my promises by working with mainstream media; hence I left photojournalism in 2014, right after being awarded with World Press Photo; I then began making guerrilla art actions and artivism, to tell the stories I met on my way, to denounce the abuses I witnessed, to keep the promises I made years before.
Following October 2023, I felt it was necessary to to dedicate myself to artivism on a full time base so I deided to abandon my job as still photographer on movies
I now need to keep what i do sustainable for me and my family; this is why your support, in any way you can, will be deeply appreciated
